High Temp Stepper Motors
High-temperature stepper motors are intended for assemblies that operate near heat sources or in elevated ambient conditions. To support higher thermal limits, the insulation system and bearing specification can be selected to meet Class H requirements. Depending on the model, duty cycle, and cooling conditions, certain configurations may be rated for temperatures up to 180°C; the applicable temperature definition (ambient, winding, or short-term exposure) should be verified in the datasheet.
Compact options are also available for space-limited designs, including versions with an outside diameter below 1 inch in selected size series. Because mounting patterns and shaft details vary by model, installation fit is typically confirmed using the published outline drawing and dimensional table rather than relying on nominal size alone.
These high temp stepper motors are used in applications such as 3D printers, quilting equipment, textile machinery, blow molding systems, woodworking machines, and other industrial mechanisms where heat exposure is part of the operating environment. If higher temperature capability is required, custom configurations may be available based on engineering review and material availability. For selection support, please share your target temperature, duty cycle, mounting constraints, and nearby heat sources or airflow limits.
