Right Angle Planetary Gearbox
A right angle gearbox, also known as a bevel gearbox, is a type of gearbox that changes the direction of the rotational axis by 90 degrees. It is a compact and efficient type of gear reducer that combines the advantages of the right angle type of gearbox and the planetary gearbox mechanism. Most right-angle gearboxes operate with an angle of 90 degrees between the input and output. Depending on how a right-angle gearbox or right-angle planetary gearbox is constructed, an axis offset may result. The right angle planetary gearboxes rely on the mechanism of the planetary gearbox. The basic structure of the planetary gear basically consists of a "sun gear" that is mounted at the center, an outer ring, the planetary gears around the sun gears, and also a carrier. It is commonly used in various applications, including robotics, automation, machine tools, conveyors, printing presses, and many other industrial and commercial systems. They offer a versatile and efficient solution for transmitting power at a right angle while maintaining compactness and reliability.
