The DM870 stepper drive is compatible with 2-phase (1.8°) and 4-phase (0.9°) NEMA 23, 24, and 34 hybrid stepper motors. It is used in applications including CNC routers, mills, plasma cutters, laser cutters, assembly lines, and vending machines.

200 kHz max pulse input frequency
16 micro-step resolutions: 200–25,600 via DIP switches, or 200–51,200 via software (increment by 200)
8 output current settings: 1.4–7.0 A via DIP switches, or 0.5–7.0 A via software (increment by 0.1 A)
Idle current reduction: 50% or 90% selectable via SW4
