This manual pulse generator (MPG) is designed for use with CNC machine tools. It utilizes wireless transmission technology, eliminating the need for a traditional coiled cable connection between the handwheel and the machine.


Support & Compatibility:

Communication Protocol: Supports the Siemens S7 protocol.

Compatible Controllers: Can interface with various Siemens PLCs (e.g., S7-200, S7-300, S7-1200 series) and Siemens virtual PLCs.

Example Systems: Adapted for use with controls such as Siemens 808D, 828D, and 840Dsl.



Features:

Wireless Operation: Uses 433MHz frequency band with an operating range of approximately 40 meters.

Multi-Unit Operation: Features automatic frequency hopping, supporting the simultaneous use of up to 32 handwheels without interference.



Control & Interface:

Equipped with an emergency stop button.

Provides 6 programmable button switch outputs.

Axis selection (6-speed) and magnification selection (3-speed) can be controlled via the handwheel or through Ethernet PLC read/write commands.

Data Display: Can read and display Siemens system data (e.g., workpiece/machine coordinates, feed rate, connection status) in real-time via Ethernet connection.

Signal Output: Supports multiple pulse signal types, including 5V differential and 24V pulses.

Power: Low-power design operates on 2 x AA batteries (batteries not included).
